Get To Know Miss ASU 2019-2020 Candidate Cyrah Miller. By: Nikita Dennis

“I think one thing is my leadership abilities, because I’ve been able to be the president of an organization as well as the face,” said Cyrah Miller, a junior, biology pre health major.

Miller is running to be the face and leader through Miss Alabama State University 2019-2020. Her platform “We Are H. O. R. N. E. T. S,“ was created to “highlight our radiant noble energy through success” by optimizing strengths, nurture the positives and relinquish the negatives in order to train for the future and succeed.

While here at ASU, Cyrah become a member of different organizations and held leadership positions. She is the President of TPAIDA, Miss ELITE, and a member of the Bio Med Club. 

“My experience at ASU has been a humbling experience… Alabama State we have our cons but we really love our school, and take proud in our University so I appreciate that a lot l,”said Miller.

Miller says she plans to do things that students won’t expect during campaign and show the student body a unique side of her. She also believes the student body should know she’s a “very down to earth person and not take me for the stigmas they assume.” 

“I really want people to see different sides of me in everything that I do and show them that I’m not stuck up and I get out there and be myself,” said Miller 

Miller says students should be humble and be a “leader servant” who is a leader that gives back to their community and beyond and not just take in perks.
